Dr. Craig Goldstein is a board-certified ER physician and member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Based in Overland Park, KS, Dr. Goldstein specializes in state-of-the-art surgical hair restoration and hair transplant procedures.

Dr. Goldstein is a highly respected hair transplant doctor with a keen eye for symmetry and strong attention to detail. He is a founding partner at Buchwach Goldstein Hair Restoration Clinic, a leading hair restoration clinic where Dr. Goldstein has spent several years working alongside Dr. Kenneth Buchwach, one of the top hair transplant surgeons in the world. Having written and contributed to five major textbooks on Hair Transplantation, Dr. Buchwach is an ideal partner for Dr. Goldstein, who has received some of the best hair restoration training available while learning the art of hairline design, FUT, and FUE hair restoration techniques.

A Passion for the Art of Hair Restoration

Dr. Goldstein completed his medical school training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Following an Emergency Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Goldstein returned to Kansas City and spent 12 years working in the ER at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. During this time, he also practiced at the St. Joseph's Wound Care Center, where he eventually took over the practice and worked in both fields until transitioning to full-time hair restoration. Through this experience, he became passionate about the artistry of hair restoration while helping men and women who have experienced hair loss gain more self-confidence and assurance in how they look. From the start of his medical training, Dr. Goldstein’s goal has been to help others heal and transform disabilities into abilities.

Dr. Goldstein is a proud native of the Kansas City metropolitan area. He enjoys spending his time off with family and friends, and he enjoys cycling, golf, and overall fitness at the gym.
